In Part 1 of the EOI Spoken test, you must deliver a structured 3-4 minute individual monologue based on a cards prompt. Here is an authentic B2/C1 practice card.
The face-to-face oral exam takes approximately 15 minutes. It is conducted by two examiners and is usually sat in pairs (two candidates interacting together).
You receive a card with visual and textual bullet points. You have two minutes of silent preparation, followed by a continuous 3-to-4 minute individual presentation.
You and your partner are given an everyday or social dilemma prompt. You must debate, negotiate, and collaborate face-to-face to reach a mutual agreement.
