The face-to-face oral assessment takes place in a examination room with four candidates and two examiners, lasting approximately 30 minutes in total.
Each candidate receives a specific prompt detailing a particular point of view. You must outline, structure, and present a coherent monologue supporting your given point.
Candidates collaborate to discuss all four points of view presented in Part A. You must interact, react to peer comments, and try to reach a consensus on the best overall option.

The MUET (Malaysian University English Test) Speaking test is Paper 2 (800/2). It is a face-to-face exam comprising two tasks: Part A (Individual Presentation) and Part B (Group Discussion).
The entire exam takes about 30 minutes. Candidates get 2 minutes to prepare and 2 minutes to present in Part A, and 3 minutes to prepare followed by an 8 to 12-minute discussion in Part B.
Grades are assessed based on three core criteria: Task Fulfilment, Language (grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structures), and Communicative Ability (pronunciation, fluency, and group interaction skills).
